Summer Snack Packs

We are so thankful for our community stepping up to help us meet the need of our students over summer break! 

When school is out, many children lose access to the meals they rely on throughout the week.

Thanks to the generosity of individuals, businesses, churches, and community groups, we have been able to provide snack packs to help fill that gap and ensure local children have food during the summer months.

So far this summer, we have given away over 1,000 snack packs at the Mobile Food Pantries at local schools. 

From hosting donation and snack pack building events to filling collection bins and making financial gifts, your support is making a real difference for families in Forsyth and Dawson counties.

While we are incredibly grateful for the support we've received so far, the need continues throughout the summer.

We are still looking for community partners, businesses, churches, and civic groups willing to host drives, donate snacks, or make financial contributions to help us keep these shelves stocked.

Together, we can ensure local children have access to food while school is out and families don't have to  focus on where the next meal will come from.

We can't believe our 50th celebration comes to a close this month. 

Last year was filled with our Heart of Gold Gala, our birthday party (rainy parties make the best memories), and getting to connect with so many amazing people to hear their stories about how The Place has influenced them and their lives.
