Emergency Food Boxes

• Food support is available to anyone in need -- no appointment required. Each package includes enough food to help for several days while we connect you with a longer-term solution. Visit us during our office hours, and our team will make sure you receive what you need.

Mobile Food Pantries

• The Place provides free food to anyone in need through our mobile food pantries. Our truck and trailer visit several locations throughout Forsyth and Dawson counties on a regular schedule. See below for upcoming dates and locations.

Register for The Place's Client Choice Food Pantry:

• With access to our pantry, you can order groceries each week through our online “client choice” platform, allowing you to select foods that best meet your family’s dietary needs. When you arrive to pick up your order, you’ll also have the opportunity to browse our onsite “quick pick” area, which offers a variety of breads, sweets, and other items not available through the online system.

• The following items are needed in order to register as a client of The Place

  • Proof of address in Forsyth or Dawson County

  • Proof of income

  • Picture ID
