Court-Mandated Community Service OR Attorney Suggested Community Service

​All court-mandated community service hours must be in person and on-site at either location of The Place. 

We do NOT offer remote/work from home for community service.

Orientation is no longer required.  Please complete the online application and upload your ID and charges.

A copy of a photo ID, charge(s), or letter from an attorney listing charges and number of required community service hours is REQUIRED before acceptance of application.

CHARGES NOT ACCEPTED

  • Violent Crimes

  • Sexual Misconduct

  • Crimes Involving Children

  • Theft/Shoplifting

TYPE OF WORK AVAILABLE

  • Assisting clients with unloading donations from their vehicle

  • Sorting and hanging clothes, shoes & accessories

  • Janitorial sweeping and/or cleaning

  • REQUIRES a lot of standing, bending, & lifting (up to 25 lbs.)

  • Must serve a minimum four hour shift.

  • This opportunity is limited to a first come, first serve basis.

DRESS CODE

Closed toed shoes, comfortable clothing, no tank tops.  For your safety, sandals and flip flops are not allowed in our facility. 

LUNCH

Bring your lunch, a snack, and water. We have a refrigerator and a break room.
