Hello January! See What’s Happening at The Place
In 2025, The Place met people in moments of crisis and walked alongside them toward stability.
Because of our community, families had food, seniors weren’t forgotten, young women had a safe place to grow, and students were given tools to build a future beyond poverty.
Thank you for being a part of our Impact!

Watch Episode 4: Client Assistance
In Episode 4 of The Place Podcast, host Nicole Morgan, Director of Development, sits down with Paige Whalen, Director of Client Services, to talk about one of the ways we serve our neighbors: Client Assistance.
This episode focuses on financial assistance, how people can get help, what types of support are available, and what the process and timeline look like. Paige shares that The Place receives 100–150 requests for help each month and explains how we care for both our clients and our staff as they do this meaningful work.
You’ll also hear about the real impact of this program, the partners and donors who make it possible, and how the community can get involved.
We close by sharing details about our upcoming matching campaign, Have a Heart for Our Community, in partnership with the Community Foundation for Northeast Georgia, an opportunity to make every gift go even further for families in need.Have a Heart for Our Community

Needs and More
Gift of Prom
Our Gift of Prom program helps students who may not otherwise attend experience this special night. We provide everything they need, from outfits to tickets, transportation, and a meal.
Prom is more than a dance, it’s a chance to feel confident and included.
Because of this support, students can focus on having fun, making memories, and feeling like they belong.
You are invited to be a part of this event! Thank you to our community to making this possible!
